The peanut (Arachis hypogaea), comes from a plant of the fabaceae family.
• Health Benefits:
Nutritionally, it is rich in oils (peanut omega) and proteins, which help to reduce the risk of developing diseases such as Alzheimer's.
• Production:
Peanuts are peeled, cleaned and selected, then subjected to high baking temperatures, finally peeled again to remove the skin that covers them. In the case of salted peanuts, once pickled it is salinized.
